When Jeff returned the raft and equipment to the USU ORC today, the person who checked in the supplies said that everyone who returned rafts had their own "hell" story to tell about their Snake River raft trip. Everyone said it was the worst they had ever experienced, most were capsized and shaken and called it quits in the middle of the river like our group did.
We were unable to find out about the raft of 20 that went down behind our raft. My guess is that they were all found or else we would have heard something about it. (Last we heard they were still missing 6 people.)
Just to let you know, the King of Powell-land and his royal subjects are already planning next year's river rafting trip with two major changes: go mid to late July instead of June and get the larger raft!
My love to all "survivors!"

Holy crap that is scary. It was scary, I am glad there were no horror stories with lost lives.
Only the day before we got there when the scout leader died -- really sad... :(
I am so greatfull that you are all okay. Wow, we've got some heroes in our family. I love you all and you'll be in my prayers.
